I adopted Daisy from the shelter one day when I was volunteering there. My guy was at work and I took a picture of her with my camera phone and texted him SURPRISE! haha he always jokes that I "collect" dogs. But now she is such a daddy's girl its pitiful. He went back home to San Diego for a week and she dragged one of his dirty shirts from the laundry into her bed and slept with it until he got back.

To those commenting on Taz the 16yo, he is relatively healthy for his age. However, his back gives him problems. That's one thing about dachshunds.. because they are so low to the ground, their backs can get bad.

Even though I can't join this swap (waaaaaaay to busy outside of Craftster for another swap) I thought I'd stop by and post pictures of my most beloved puppies.

These are Mandy (black and tan) Angie (middle dog) and Fancy (big dog).  They're all rescue dogs.  Angie (middle dog) is the only pure bred puppy we have an she came from project halo via a puppy mill.  The little puppy (Mandy) was abused and we got her from project halo as well.  Fancy (big dog) was abandoned in PetSmart and we got a phone call from a friend of ours who said "I think she's part dachshund?" and she's the sweetest puppy you'd ever want to meet. 

I can't wait to see this gallery!  Its going to be awesome!
