Yes, I'd like to see how it goes with the kids, too!

I'll ask my mum if I can assist and snap some pictures!

For now, we are looking for cheap plastic balls. It's a challenge to google with the word 'balls' *roll eyes* I would love to go to my favourite craft store right now (we have few of those in Belgium), but we're in the middle of some kind of storm, so I'll stay in my warm house for now, and browse the web a bit more. The trickiest part is the cheap side. Mum just bought a cd-player for the class, so her money is almost gone...

I adore these so much! I'm going to make them and use black glass paint on the outside to write my family's names  Smiley
Does anyone know anywhere in the UK to find any clear glass ornaments? I've looked everywhere!

if you can't find them in shops, try online...
ebay listings for "Clear christmas balls" brings up a couple results
here's another result I got:
http://www.paperwishes.com/products/4001201
just try searching a couple different terms, like clear christmas balls, clear glass christmas ornaments, etc

These are just beautiful!  I bet this would be a great project for a girl scout troop!  Are you putting these on your tree? Pictures of them on a tree would be very nice.

search plastic fillable ornament. They have some on AMAZON.com. They open from the middle so you could use spray glue or
white craft glue on a paint sponge to wipe on the inside. The sprinkle glitter on both halves and snap shut! Walla Same effect but kid friendly!
GOOD LUCK!

I just decorated the tree last night, but I'm short a strand of lights! As soon as it's properly lit, I'll post a photo.
