@amigurl55, have you joined www.ravelry.com? They have lots of patterns to search, and might even have the pattern from the magazine you lost. Even if they don't I'm sure you could find the perfect pattern for you Smiley

That is too cool! I'd love to see the pattern on that one as well!

I saw this pretty sweater at Old Navy and was curious what creates the holes in the fabric. Did they switch to bigger needles?

No that's just lace, a simple YO paired with a decrease.

I am very much in love with this hat! Anyone know where I can find a similar pattern? I tried searching for "ribbed beanie" and "basketweave hat" on ravelry with no luck. Any help is appricated!

Does anyone know of a pattern similar to the knitted blanket shown on the cover of "Country Living" magazine, the February 2013 issue?

It is shown draped over a bench in this photo from their website.

Thank you!

Vicki

Hello! I am hoping to impress the boy I am dating by knitting him a skull balaclava to wear on a long motorcycle trip he's taking in April (lower face only). My needles are gathering dust, but I'm a pretty good knitter, just not good at creating intarsia charts to try to apply to a basic balaclava pattern I might find. Could anyone help point me in the right direction?

While looking for an inspiration picture to post, I realize I'm not quite thinking of a full balaclava, but a lower face mask, like in the below image.

Thanks!

I would have to be able to look closer but it looks like it could easy enough. A garter band and probebly some variation of a waffle style stitch. Was there a picture with a closer view of the blanket?
