I'm with Nora, I would love an easy hat pattern for bulky yarn. I have size 5 bulky yarn weight and only one skein. I'm hoping I can find a pattern for circular needles for it. Thanks in advance!

i wasn't finding much luck in the crochet section, so maybe there is a knitting pattern out there.
Has anyone seen it? I want to make it for me and my daughter so badly.

madam.sytes.net is not a scam nor is it spam. It is a great site for needlework books. Yes, it is a Russian site, but that is what Google's translate is all about. (or you could use Google's Chrome browser - it automatically translates foreign language sites)
There are tons of wonderful books here, and the nice thing is is even though many of the books are in a different language they are so well-illustrated that the images are enough to be able to do the patterns.
There are such creative patterns for crochet in certain Russian magazines. The best I have found are the Journal Duplet mags.
This is my very favorite site for DLing free ebooks!

Well there's so many great patterns available in english that why spend the time putting a site through a translator. Especially if you are just going to reverse engineer the items. Take garnstudio.com - a swedish site with hundreds of free, stylish patterns, yet provides translations in several languages.

I am a complete newbie at knitting meaning I have knitted scarves and simple stuff but I don't really follow the abbreviations in most of the patterns...but I really want to learn how to make knitted flowers like these

I would be really really grateful if someone could help me out with the patterns and the abbreviations and stuff
thank you
