I have to admit that Irina's collection was amazing, but I am a HUGE Carol Hannah fan, I love the fact that she has never went to fashion school and she can make a gown like no one else.  Her clothes are so whimsical and original!  I also loved Altheas collection so wearable, I would wear all of the creations she sent down the runway.  I think Irina's attitide made me not so open to her collection, but it was beautiful, I want that Tee!  I love going to Carol Hannah's Etsy site, she makes beautuful wedding gowns!

Irina's collection was ridiculous, I thought!

It looked like a bunch of femmbots from MadMax!

Carol Hannah's collection was gorgeous and I would have worn any of it... She should have one.

I love carol-hannah's blue dress she made for the runway& the other one she wore hereself, the draping itself reminded me a bit( only a bit) of the one guy( was it from the 5th season?!) who only did those grecian drapes?

I loved Carol Hannah's collection.  I was soooo rooting for her.

I liked the other two collections, but I still don't think Irina really deserved it.

I'd love to see Carol Hannah's etsy shop......can you link it for me pls?

now dont get me wrong not huge Irina fan....mean is not cool!!!

Irina....wins well I would have to say as far as runway went she had the concept of show down, it was cohesive,  the other collections we all over the place...her construction was dead on....as for the others i saw constructions issues....Carol's Gold dress  back was not quite even...it looked bad on camera.....

Of course attitude can play on our humanities .....i loved Althea and carol as people...but ya have to admit as design and construction Irina had it.....The drive is there and from what I see from fashion industry you have to have that and backbone.....

Irina's collection was ridiculous, I thought!
It looked like a bunch of femmbots from MadMax!

There were fembots in Mad Max?!?! LOL, I know what you mean, though. If there WERE fembots in Mad Max, that's what they woulda worn Tongue I actually just finished watching all three Mad Max movies last week, and YAY for the fourth one coming out in 2 years!

I gotta agree with everyone who's not down with Irina's attitude, but from what she was saying about her collection, what with being "armour" and "protective," I figure she's had a hard time in New York. Yea, I know, "boohoo, grow up," well, shnikeys, I'm 25 and I'm still growing up!

Overall, though, I really liked Irina's collection. I want the hats. Like, WANT, as in I might go so far as to learn felting! The overlapping scale motif was really cool and visually interesting. I would actually wear almost everything in her collection, just not paired with black, black, and more black! I would have liked to see more metallics and shades of gray and brown. My first thought on the black leather jacket with the point in the front was "hey, Lady Gaga's closet has been raided!" If you check out her website, you'll notice from her Spring 2009 collection (which would have been released right before they were filming PR6), she's actually got an aesthetic that's like Carol Hannah's except with a much "dirtier" and "harder" veneer (which explains why they kept coming up with similar designs). http://irinashabayeva.com/

Carol Hannah's collection was a close second for me, mainly cuz of the saleability of her collection. I especially loved the paper-bag waisted poofy skirt (was it made of taffeta? loved the fabric), the "upside-down pyramid" dress that the judges remarked upon (thank god it fit the model so well!), and her 13th look was GOLDEN! All the colours were so muted, though. Other than that amazing teal, it all looked muddy. I checked out her Etsy page, though, and I'm disappointed.

Althea's collection bored me to tears. There was nothing new and interesting, the colour palette was a snooze-fest, and the collection was overall really main-stream. I'd expect to see that stuff at Le Chateau or Dynamite, maybe the simpler stuff even trickling down into WalMart. The only thing I liked was the outfit the judges liked, the silver sparkle top and matte gray skirt, and even that looked terrible cuz it didn't fit the model properly in the waist (wait, what waist? that girl was straight as a toothpick). I thought PR is based on finding "the next big fashion designer," but based on this collection, I'd call her a commercial designer. Her senior-year at school produced a surprisingly interesting collection, especially compared to her PR collection. Her Spring 2010 collection is almost as commercial as her PR set, but thankfully far more innovative and intriguing. http://www.altheaharper.com/home.php

Hah! My mom said that hairstyle looked like a flock of seagulls haircut! I was thinking how can she judge clothes when she picked that hairstyle? It made me giggle. I kind of liked it.

I thought Irina's collection looked so similar to Christian Siriano's winning collection from his season that I was bored to bits. I would have worn everything Althea made (except that one black sweater) and I felt she should've won. And Irina had the worst attitude.

I will give Irina props on the hats. Threadbanger's did a tutorial on something like them a while ago.

I also wanted Carol Hannah to win, but mostly because she was sick and I felt bad for her.

The third judge's hair killed me.  She's gonna judge fashion with that hair?  Did she look in a mirror before she left the house?  Doesn't she have friends who care about her?  Looked kinda like something ya might find on a poodle. :-)

I was bummed that Carol Hannah didn't win.  Her stuff was shweet.  And she powered through even being sick and all..and she used color!  Fancy that! :-)
