ntrebleagain hasn't said anything about retrieving her package from me nor is she responding to messages.  Huh  Its been well over a week since she said she was going to pick it up and post in a few hours. I don't have pictures to post (besides two on my phone) and I'm feeling quite dejected. I sent her 5 resin sprinkle and glitter globe ornaments, two strands of brown velvet ribbon garland with blue flowers w/ iridescent yellow glass bead centers, and two diorama scene ornaments: one of a snowy scene of a pink bottle brush tree w/baby blue deer as well as one with a mouse holding a threaded needle with a spool of thread and some vintage buttons. I'll see if I can upload the photos from my phone.

Aw, I'm sorry hun! I am sure she loved everything she received - 'tis the season when life gets crazy! I am sure she'll post when she has time...the goodies sound quite lovely!

Those do sound great, Melyssa. I want to see!!!

greenfaeire, I'm so bummed this happened! You really don't need to worry about a sending a replacement if it's going to be a pain! Post offices mess up all the time! Although the UPS man is supposed to be better, and they guarantee stuff, so you should be able to get reimbursed, at least for postage.

On another note, so funny that you also used a family recipe and local ingredients for the jam. I did the same for what I sent you! I love strawberries and balsamic together, so I can't wait to try it. It reminds me of a peppered raspberry preserve I used to make, then blend with cream cheese or mascarpone to serve as an appetizer. Maybe I'll do that for Xmas eve with your jam!

That does sound delicious!  I have never attempted to make jam, but I am a big fan of testing it out. Cheesy

Making preserves and jams is addictive. Do it once and you'll be back for more! LOL
