They were on sale and I got a couple butter flake, a couple reduced fat (which I tried, yum!) and one original. So I can, you know, make an informed decision Wink Plus I will make these for my brother and he will not eat reduced fat!

PS, if you have Albertson's they are on sale for $1.69 a tube for PIlsbury this week (even cheaper than house brand). There was a sign up saying if you bought five you got free butter, which is why I bought five. Turns out they forgot to take the sign down from the sale last week, but the manager still gave me the butter! Good customer service!

MacesMeMe - I'm sure I've told you this, but I LOVE your boxer! (See my icon, I'm a pretty big boxer fan myself, lol) And they are so super easy! One of my favorite "go to" meals because we always have things to stuff our sandwiches with. I'm a nanny and it's hard to find easy meals that everyone likes. Plus, it's so easy that the kids can all help me prepare it... and we all know how much kids love to help!

MareMare- We have Albertson's sister company here, Jewel... and they're almost always overpriced =(
But thanks for the tip!!

Twylag- Not gonna lie, salad and rice sounds pretty good right now... at this particular moment, it's looking like pizza for us.

Craftyredhead- Slightly off topic, but I was recently served an apparently local treat... drunken weenies! (pigs in a blanket, style) they were weenies soaked in different alcohol/barbecue sauce combos... surprisingly very tasty! **Credit where credit is due: Duncan's Drunken' Weenies are in Joliet, Illinois***

I know, I usually don't shop there, but I was going out for only crescent rolls lol! I checked the grocery ads before I left and they were on sale there.

I'm making more of these right now for dinner for my mom...tuna melt version!  Wink

They look great ... afterall, they have cheese!!! lol

Have you ever froze them or made them for lunch the next day? If yes, how are they the "next" day?

MareMare- My husband would gladly join you for the tuna, since I really don't like seafood, lol!

CraftyDeJa- I loooove them the next day. After they have fully cooled, they take on a better form, I think. A couple seconds in the microwave and you're back in business! I just pop them in the fridge, no freezer.

McJulie-O- Oh, good news! You must not have heard, but calories taken in during November and December don't count!
