Hey! I'm from the Fort but I live/go to school in fayetteville now. I'm usually home on the weekends. Fort Smith is kinda slow but theres great thrifting and its less than an hour from fayetteville, which is much craftier.

Yay! Yep, I'm moving to the Fort at the end of the month. Headed there tomorrow for 2 weeks to scout out apartments - know of any good 2 bdrm places under $400 a month? A house would ROCK, actually. Van Buren/Alma/etc would work, too.

I know that JoAnn closed fairly recently. Is Hobby Lobby the only place to get goodies these days or did anything else open up?

If I could buy the world a coke, then I would say "SCREW YOU WORLD" and go buy more fabric.

Hiya ladies!

So, I don't actually live in Arkansas but I do however live right across the state line in OK. (About 26 miles outside Poteau if you know it) Ft. Smith is closer then OKC or Tulsa for me so I get all my crafty goodies there. I make jewelry mostly, although I'm trying to undertake crocheting too.  Grin I would dearly love to have people to craft with, even if it's not the same type of crafting.

Happy Crafting!

Ok, as far as i can tell in fort smith, the only local crafty shop is the local yarn store StringTown.  Other than that, i haven't really found anything.  Fayetteville is definitely the jackpot as far as crafty goodness goes.

Hey ladies!

I've lived here for a year now, and I've accumulated a ridiculous amount of crafting stuff. I need to de-stash because I'm trying to clean up my crafting room a little and get organized.  I have some fabric, yarn, knitting needles, random vintage crafting supplies ( doll heads and such..don't ask) and a lot of fabric scraps that would be good for quilting.  So if any of you need any of this stuff, you're welcome to come take it, I'd rather a fellow craftster get it than some random person on Craigslist.

Let me know ladies!
Thanks!
