It's actually not that hard working from a pattern. I believe this one is meant for needle and thread, but I have this phobia of them and mess up the simplest stitch...so I've been using tigertail instead. Glad you like.

I'm pretty close to being done, so I should have no problem mailing by the (new, extended) deadline. It looks pretty good at the moment, if I do say so myself.

I'm home! and there's a postage slip here for Amy's package so I shall be able to pick it up tomorrow! I can't wait! Wow the gifts people have made are absolutely amazing and I love the earrings/necklace your making Amy! Awww I wanna see what I got!!!!  LOL one more sleep....

Hey guys just kletting you know I probably won't get my package today either... Last night my Gran who has dementia had another fall and broke her hip, so we arranged jobs and I was going to do all the shopping/other jobs in the local town while Mum went up the hospital as the hospital is understaffed and all the beds are full, their insisting relatives sit with patients. However just to make things worse Mum's car wouldn't start this morning so she took the Holden Commodore I normally drive, Dad's trying to fix her VW Jetta, but even if he does I can't drive it, so I'm pretty much stuck here. My own Mazda 2 doesn't arrive till the 19th so this should be rather interesting in terms of cars. Anyway hopefully I'll be able to get in to town today but it doesn't seem likely at the moment.

Oh hon, I'm so sorry.  Your grandmother and your entire family are in my prayers!  If I can do anything, let me know - even if it's just to listen.  I know how it is to have a family member who's in and out of the hospital.  Big hugs!

As an aside, apparently Haley's home and they got the whole tumor out.  We're just waiting on pathology now.  Praise God!

  I'm Sorry, too, E! I hope you can get to the Post office soon. If not,  Just call them, and ask them to re-deliver it if you can't get out.

The [post office don't come out this far with packages, just the postage slips, they'll hold em for two weeks so I have a week yet. Mum just got home so I may be able to get in this arvo, just depends if the hospital calls again or not, though we really do need to get to town our food store consists of a bag of pasta, a jar of tomato sauce, peanut butter and various spices, no exactly enough for three people LOL.

I got it! We got to the post office two minutes before closing, the poor guy almost collapsed when he realised we had six separate postage slips LOL. I can't believe what Amy sent, it's just wow, pics are uploading in a second. I have to keep taking things back from my mother, she's insisting I do another swap with Amy so she can have some LOL. Though I'd love to do another swap myself this was such fun and it's great to swap with someone who has such a different talent to yours.
