I've been waiting for this gallery to come up.  Such wonderful packages.  I love the fichu and the nativity wall hanging.  Way back, eye_on_sparrow showed a picture of a fabric nativity.  I have that same panel and with being sick and all I haven't had a chance to make it.  Seeing what it looks like finished has definitely given the motivation to start on it.  You did a wonderful job.  And all those teaser pictures are teasing me, too!

Oh what a pretty package and look at the glorious beads.  I have one more package to send to my partner, but will be mailing on deadline.  I am spending a mint at the post office.  But I am having so much fun crafting.

I've received from the fabulous MsMia!  And she totally spoiled me (and on a day I needed some cheering, too)!

Here's a group picture:

Included are three nativities, a birdy light-up glass box, a Nemo puzzle, FOUR bath soaks (relaxing milk, chocolate milk, vanilla milk and salt and soda - how did she know that I've been in the tub every night to warm up?), an adorable pen that scrolls two Bible verses about faith, hope and love when you click it, a metal bookmark that says Bless, and a handmade journal.

And now some close-ups!

Two little birdies on a glass box that has Christmas lights in it so it lights up!  The active shots I got were awful, so here it is, non-actiony.

Nativity #1 - so simple and yet still so beautiful and powerful.

Nativities #2 and #3 - (all three nativities are now on my nativity chest and it totally makes me happy to look at it!) The little figures are so cute in the one on the left!  And the one on the right is just fabulous.

An awesome handmade journal with inspirational quotes inside -

Thank you so much, MsMia!  You've spoiled me already!  Cheesy

Everything in the gallery is gorgeous!  Avalon,  where did you find that burse and veil?  What a thoughtful, and appropriate gift for this swap!  You can't get much more Christ-centered than that.

Kaz I am glad you liked your goodies.

The puzzle is for you to alter and be careful with the birdy light, it may get really hot if left on for an extended time.  I found the wooden nativity at the second hand store and I know you said you had a collection.  If you turn it over it is dated 1997.

Oooh, I've been eager to get into altering puzzles - you read my mind.

And I'll keep an eye on the birdy and put it on a hot pad or something.

Cheesy

And the nativity was such a good find!  I love it.

So I'm posting from the ONE internet hub on this Island, the internet is sooooo slow, I haven't been able to admire everon else packages yet, it took forever for Amy's pics to load. I'm sooo glad you liked it, I was a bit worried they may not be as petriod correct as they should be. The turqouise blue fabric is hand dyed broad cloth, it's actually the left overs from my own messenger back LOL. The black fabric is an african cotton jaquard, umm the fichu is made from what is today called voile but I eblieve it's also what would ahve been called muslim in the nineteenth century with cotton lace.

The Burse and Veil is part of a complete set our priest gave to my Mum when she replaced them with newer mor modern pieces, some aren't in great condition with wax and burn marks etc but the red set seemed fairly good still, they'd be 30-40 years old I think? Our church isn't big on replacing things.

I can't wait to see mine, anyways I need to go my internet times just about run out looking at three pages on craftster.

Glad to see you can at least join us for a few minutes, ms. Avalon!
And MsMia! What a sweet package you sent Kaz! You're actually sending more? You must really be getting inspired!  Isn't this fun, watching the packages come in?
As for me, I just finished my re-make of my main project! It turned out great! Mom has been in the kitchen... Looks like some yummy treats are going in this package too!
