So, in my attempt to make Christmas presents this year, I've been a bit preoccupied with stuff that I want to make for myself. Turns out, I won. I also live in Montana, so it's a bit chilly here. Smiley
First is a calorimetry. I've wanted to make one for a while and just haven't, so I finally sat down and did it. It's made from a super soft alpaca. I love that it covers my ears too. I found the pattern here: http://homegrownrose.typepad.com/reclaimingthehome/2008/07/the-one-hundredth-in-which-she-shares-a-crochet-calorimetry-pattern.html

I've also been envious of all the amazing cowls. I had some wonderful soft Wool-Ease laying around, so I decided to try it as well. I love how it'll fit perfectly under my coat! I got this pattern here: http://simplebeans.blogspot.com/2009/02/crochet-cowl-pattern.html
It was super easy and worked up REALLY quick.

Next is actually Christmas presents. Oh, but I am keeping one myself. Does anyone else have the problem of giving their stuff away?! haha
I wanted to make coffee cozies for some of my sister-in-law's, so I thought it would be fun to make them and give them with some Starbucks gift cards. I also wanted them to be used with coffee mugs as well. I just made the pattern up myself with some simple stitches and some fun buttons. Smiley

Thanks for looking!
Comments and criticisms are welcome!!! Smiley

Thanks!
I thought the cowl was one of the easiest projects I've made.
And I saw that blanket in Crochet Today, it's beautiful! I wouldn't be able to part with it either! haha
