My Boyfriend is studying stage management at college this year, and for his prop design class he had to design and make a mask.  He chose a masquerade theme and got to work, I helped him with the gold bits, and he put sponge on the inside of the mask so its more comfortable to wear.  we're both rather proud of it and its got him into crafts kindof! without much further ado, pictures!

c&c welcome!

I love it, reminds me of Labyrinth. I only have one thought, it has been a long time since I have done any stage lighting. If this was to be warn for an onstage performance....How well would the white stand out among other masks? Should he put more color to it, even if just to enhance it a bit?

Hmm... that's a very good point, this was one of many though since we caught the bug for it, so we'll make sure to improve on that next time   Grin
