First of all, I am not good at this stuff. I can draw things and sometimes I can sew things and embroider things, and maybe do some other stuff, but I am not good with clay. But the other day I got a wacky idea in my head to make a dangly squid that could hang in my boyfriend's car for Christmas and so today I thought "Why not?" and gave it a go. It's not exactly what I wanted and it's actually A LOT bigger than I wanted (As in, no longer a rear-view-mirror-hanger) but I am still pretty pleased with how he looks. The tentacles are my favorite, even though they got a little burnt in the oven.

love it Grin
nice idea with the moving tentacles. if you made it with clay (ie not of the polymer kind) he'd make a cool wind chime (for light breezes only...obviously)

Thanks guys! I'm so glad and surprised that you guys like it so much considering that so much awesome stuff is posted here. I love the idea of a squid wind chime, too! That would be awesome! I'd love to see someone with some metal working skills make something like that. The suckers could be holes and the tentacles hollow and they could be like little wind flutes.

Anyway, again, thanks for the kind words!
