I bought this set before I was even married.  I knew it would hang in my children (to be)'s room.  Well it hangs in their corner of the living room seven years later.  The back says "Love Grammie English 1975"  One mans trash, is definitely my treasure.  I have thought about re-framing so they all match, but never really gotten around to it.

What a fabulous find! The colors are so bright and cheerful and the stitching is gorgeous.  I love the armadillo.

these are fabulous!  my favorites are the armadillo and turtle.  I'm so jealous of Grammie English's embroidery skills.

It's always so sad when someone just tries to get rid of such treasures.

Thank goodness you came along to give these a great home. These are awesomely done!

What a find!  I'm sure Grammie English would be very happy that someone loves them so much Smiley
