That scarf is so cool! Is it just braided?? What a fantastic idea - it looks so elegant and would be a great way to get through some of my stash.

I've received an outstanding package all the way from the UK! Littlebluegirl is so talented - I LOVE everything Smiley.

First off...an adorable ornament straight from my wists!! I LOVE it!! It will be hung front and center on the tree but for now it found a home on one of the 7 stockings hanging from the mantle...

I wore a raggedy old blue scarf to work this morning and told my Fiance..."ugh, I really need to knit myself a new blue scarf." Ask and you shall receive!! Littlebluegirl made me this snuggly, soft, super cute scarf - just what I needed. Yay!! This is especially great because I suck at crocheting and could never make this for myself. I can't wait to wear it...

Thank you so much littlebluegirl!

Oh! I want to know about those slippers. I need to make slippers for my 7 yr. old nephew for Christmas. I need something relatively simple too. :-P

Here is the pdf pattern that I used - the instructions are pretty much identical to the link Dizzer posted, but they've provided actual pattern pieces for a bunch of ages - 0 months through 4 years, I think.  Obviously those are just guidelines, though - Dizzer's suggestion of tracing a sock for the bottom is pretty brilliant.
