Completely forgot to post this since <gasp!> June!! This is a strawberry cake with rum-flavored icing filling, iced with rum-flavored icing and then covered in marshmallow fondant. Used some royal icing for decoration and just a tad of gel icing for the green on the eye. The boyfriend loved it and all his friends at the MMA-watching party were impressed.

And since we started cutting at the tail, all that was left at the end of the night was the head!

I think the rum I had poured in the cake after baking ended up over-softening the fondant. It ended up just gooey. I thought it looked weird but everyone ate it and no one got sick, so woohoo!
