Great job! It`s soo cute and girly. I think the collar would be prettier if it was slightly bigger and more round, but still the coar is utterly adorable!

That is adorable. What type of fabric did you use for the coats?

Thanks! They are both made out of fleece. JoAnns had a sale and it was all half off, so I just couldn't resist.

I've learned to not think of unwearable attempts as a waste.  They are experience.  Think of it as the cost of learning--like a class fee.  And you sure won't repeat any mistakes you might have made when they've been so frustrating!  Look at how wonderful your second version was.  So stop worrying about the stuff that ends in a pile--it's been used (not wasted) just in a different way than you intended.

I have boxes of vintage piano music.  Some as old as 1890's!  PM me if you'd like some!

omg. I love this jacket! It is ADORABLE! I love how you made it overlap so that you can add an extra set of buttons, it made a huge difference. I live in San Francisco so I am always looking for new coat patterns because its freezing here. I will try this one out and make it a lot shorter since I'm only 5'4'' and anything that long make me look like a midget  Grin

haha because of all the comments I've gotten like this I've decided to do a small etsy shop to try to reclaim some of the money I've spent on crafts. I'm working on one order right now  Shocked!
