Hello,

I just made these for my brother, using Kwik Sew 3267.  They were a dream to put together - I thought the Kwik Sew construction and instructions were terrific, and they allowed just the right amount of ease.  I did the small (size 28-30).  They are being modelled by my kind husband who happens to be just the same height and size as my brother - what luck  Smiley

So this was the photo to grab your attention!

I did the pocket facings in black satin.  The trouser fabric is a cotton and synthetic blend that doesn't crease much, has a nice weight and is reasonably thick.

The naked torso is because it was a VERY warm day.  Thanks very much for looking.

Comments/questions and criticism are much appreciated.

They look fantastic - very crisp and professional.
Hubby makes a great model - a well-trousered man-butt first thing in the morning is a very nice sight Wink

Those trousers look perfect.  I mean serisoulsly I would of thought they were bought at a store.  Great work.

One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its black gates are guarded by more than just orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep. The great eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire, ash, and dust. The very air you breathe is a poisonous fume.......

The sewing is really well done on this!
The pocket facing is great and makes it look so professional. Kudos on getting the fitting right, too. Great job!

And, reading the comments makes me laugh!

I totally agree.  Especially on a Monday morning  Smiley

Yeah, we have problems too - trying to find men's trousers for a 28" waist is not easy in New Zealand.

I highly recommend that Kwik Sew pattern - it was a dream to work with compared to Simplicity.  Great fly construction.
