I cannot take credit for this one. My mother actually stumbled upon the directions for this adorable garland while searching online for blanket stitch instructions. This was a super simple felt circle garland. A complete photo tutorial can be found here.

I cut circles from six different colored sheets of felt. Tonight I purchased twelve sheets of felt (four sheets each in green, white and red) so I can make a more holiday color scheme garland for my son's tree. The one I have already finished is approximately six feet in length and took me a day to make it working on it here and there. Smiley

Very cute though it looks like a labor of love - very time consuming

Really cute! I'll bet worked in white felt with red yarn, this would have a very candy-like look...

i totally thought from the thumnail that it was made of those round mint candies you get around the holidays. Cheesy  I actually really like this idea though! I might make one for my little apartment-sized tree, since it would be a reasonable size to try to accomplish.

I think it looks like candy already, and am thinking this would look so cute on my candy-themed tree.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone! It's such a fun, easy project. Honestly, the most time consuming part is cutting out all of the circles. I used a sharp crewel needle and some embroidery floss to string all of my circles onto and just pulled them off in pairs when needed. It kept everything very tidy. And these could be done in any color scheme, even patterns. I used some leftover zebra print from a plushy I'd made last year Smiley
