I saw lainsie's hats in this post http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=327989.0 and had to try it for myself.  I love the result, although I would make the beginning chain just a little longer if I do it again.  Too bad I didn't count this time..... lol

I just made a rectangle of hdc's in back loop only, slip stitched it into a tube, scrunched it up at the top, and added a flower.  It was easy and I did it all in one day.  I wish I could have gotten the hole at the top a little smaller, but I doubt anyone will be looking at that part.

As usual, anything in the background resembling a messy bathroom is simply some minor problem with your monitor.   Cheesy

Ooh - pretty!  I love the flower, the colour and the texture.  I think the hole is small enough - everyone's head needs a  little ventilation.  Smiley

So much to make, so little time!

Ooh I like this - it's a different look instead of your typical in-the-round crochet beanie.  Very nicely done.  And the large flower - great choice.  Makes the hat look very chic and modern.  Great job!

The flower pattern came from here, although honestly I think I messed up a little bit along the way so it might not be exact.

I like you temporarily ;)
