Is this crochet-along still open? After I finish my tetris blanket I'm definately going to do something zelda, pokemon or digimon related so I might join if it's still open!

Pokemon/Digimon count me 100% IN. Cheesy (and of course! Join in anytime.)

I'm going out to the store this evening to get some yarn. I'm going to put a Final Fantasy spin to my blanket. I found my image last night and made an excel graph of it. I can't wait!!

This project has been really enjoyable for me! It helps me relax between study sessions. I'm about a fourth of the way through mine. I actually got the hang of sewing together granny squares...my bottom rows look a bit wonky but I'm getting better. I used to hate sewing things together, now it's not that bad.

Awesome! I still need to complete my tetris blanket so later I'll post progress pics, (hopefully sometime soon, >.<) Can't wait to see what others are coming up with!

I worked on this a bit more today. I've got the shield totally done, and I attached my first bit of green today. Cheesy

I have finally found time to start the Link blanket that I wanted to make for my boyfriend!  Cheesy
I bought some yarn yesterday and I already crocheted 12 squares. I'm so excited! Grin

Awesomeness! I am doing a similar thing, but following along on the granny-a-day crochet-along. Although, it's more like twenty squares a day when I can do it.

Here's what I have so far! Hopefully I can get this done by my dad's birthday which is later in October.

Nice! Mine is looking really weird at this point, lol. I am sort of adding the squares randomly, because of needing to switch the attaching color of yarn (if that makes sense) I'll post another pic soon.

Hope you guys don't mind me asking here....

What methods are you using to join the squares? I'm thinking that leaving a border will look funny... And I am having trouble with the join-as-you-go method...
