I can't thank you enough Ashley!  You really made my day!

I got my package from Kuruku today. Let me just say that it was a bright light in a time of darkness for me. My BF lost his job we were extremely short on rent and I just got news that my dad may have had another heart attack. But onto the good stuff.
Kuruku sent me;
-A dream pillow with sage and lavender in it, it smells lovely.
-A crocheted case for my tarot cards. it has three little charms on it. A fairy a tree of life and an oak leaf.I this item is my favorite.
-A sculpted raven fetish! You deserve bonus points for this I know how hard it is to capture the look of a raven.
-A tiny altoid tin of resin incense. Francincense, amber and myrrh. yummy smells!
-And an awsome book about the history of witches and other useful info.
- and a stick incense burner which has sculpy spirals and leaves on it.

Thank you ever so much Kuruku. Ever thought I knew your package was coming it seems to have come at just the right time to cheer me up. Thanks again.

I'm glad you like the stuff, lilgothkatt.

I assure you the tarot card case was crocheted only when I was feeling positive. I have a friend who makes jokes about my 'anger toques' -- full of bad energy because I sometimes crochet when I'm grouchy. But don't worry! I tried to instill it w/as much good energy as possible!

I got my little Green Man in the mail and he is awesome! I LOVE him. He is knitted up as snug as a bug and has the dearest little antlers. It is really well made and VERY thoughtful. Thank you so much Selki, I really like it. I'm going to post some pics so everyone can see how nifty he is.

I'm SO GLAD he got there all right - I should have said he was a variation of Cerrunos - not Cerridwen - somedays the brain just doesn't work!
I was hoping he didn't get lost in the mail - I had started him right away and then I put him aside while I had classes - then it turned out that I preached - I'm in seminary - all day 24 April and my son's birthday was the 25th - that doesn't even begin to touch on the papers - anyway - what I was trying to say is - I'm sorry he was late - I just got a bit overwhelmed that week!

I started with a pattern for a knitted gnome in The Children's Year - and just kinda went from there. After I got my present - I was kinda nervous - Anyway - I'm SOOO happy to hear you like him!

Blessed Be - Selkie

Hi there - I'll get pictures up soon, but got some very lovely items from Aada this week!  Thank you so much!  There was so much in the package - I was so impressed!  She sent a black cloth painted with Blessed Be in gold, a goblet with some beautiful Asian-designed ribbon around the stem (and another little piece of the ribbon), 4 little dishes (which I will probably use for offerings)-one for each element, 2 glass candle holders, a painted Chinese character (which I'm suddenly blanking on because I'm doing this from memory), a small asian-designed mirror and a pair of beautiful goddess earrings.  It really made my day!  I can't do it justice by describing!  Thank you Aada!

Glad you like- I had my neice as a wrist-size model, I'm so glad it worked out! I have super-big wrists, so I thought hers were more normal size. The red beads really made we want to take up glass blowing, if that makes sense;)
I really had a hard time on this swap, stringing & unstringing & re-stringing!
I just wanted everything to be right.

Woo hoo!  I got my very awesome package from SlyBettie today!  *does the happy dance*  I was so busy with my new job and crafting for another swap, that I totally forgot it was coming!  I was so happy when I got it! Grin

Here's everything altogether.  There's a jar of fairy shimmer powder and a beautiful fairy doll. (The pretty picture-thing is a card that she sent with the crafts.  I thought it was really pretty, so I put it in the picture Wink )

Here's a close-up of the fairy shimmer powder (In the most awesome bottle!  I really love pretty bottles and jars and things):

And here's a close-up of the gorgeous fairy doll she made for me.  She's holding a gem and has a pretty necklace with a pentacle pendant and quartz beads on it:

I really love everything!  Thank you so much! Kiss Kiss

Yeah, they are hair sticks.

I tried to include info and... a stone that would help with the things you mentioned.  A description of adventurine (the heart pendant) is in the notebook.

I meant to send the list of the specific runes I used... did i forget?  If i did I'll scan it and email it to you so you know, and maybe can add it to the book if you plan on using either. Smiley  I'm so glad you like everything.  Is the information pertinent?

They are made of wooden disks, painted with the symbols, kind of half black and white, and sealed to make sure they'll last.

PS.  Any word on my swap package?

Red was supposed to send over the weekend.  I PMed her to find out if she did or not.  When she sends me the DC # we'll be all set!  Everyone will have sent, except for guinthegoodwitch, who is now labeled as a flaker. Sad But besides that, we're good. Wink

The information is great!!!
I just got hair cut, so can use hair sticks without fear of my 500lbs of hair breaking them! Whoo-hoo on timing:)
Could you e-mail me runes info? Will add it top book- seriously plan on using both!!!

Oh wow! I wasn't part of this swap, but I just skimmed through this gallery, and am very sad I missed it. Any possibility of a round two? I do consider myself Wiccan, btw, but I'm still learning.

There has been talk of a round two over at this thread.  I'm not organizing that one, organizing position is still up for grabs if someone wants to have a go. Wink
