I was playing around with my Queen of Heart's Slouchy Hat Pattern http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=321695.msg3709741#msg3709741
and I noticed that it made a cool looking shape if you put it on top of your head.
So I decided to make a hat like that. You can pretty much turn any slouchy hat into one of these Smiley Just put it on top of your head and fold a flap over in the front, then take it off and sew the band to the inner part of the hat to make it stay together. Tada! This technique should work with my Star Slouchy Hat Pattern http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=321409.msg3705628#msg3705628 too.

Start at the Left and sew until the green mark on the Right.

*I named it Artist's Cap because it reminded me of those painters you see in the movies that are painting by a lake in the park LOL*

Thanks! It's not my best hat but I thought it was clever. My daughter loves it.
