Hi there,

I have experimented some with natural dyes . . . everything from red cabbage to cochineal and indigo.  I LOVE the colors I can get with some of these dyes . . . as well as the fact that they're natural . . . but does anyone know whether you can use table/ kosher salt with natural dyes, to create those pretty "speckled" effects on silks and other fabrics?
