These outfits were made solely from aluminum cans (no thread, tape, glue, velcro, buckles, wire, etc.).
The side metal of the cans is weaved through the pull tabs to make a kind of chainmail armor. Even the earrings are 100% from cans.
100% recycled and recyclable
100% aluminum
Made in Canada

That is seriously awesome.  And your model is beautiful!  I'm just wondering though... are the edges of the side metal sharp?

RE: sharp edges
I've tucked or folded over all the ends of strips of metal. Most of the "prickly" feeling you get wearing it is from the tabs where they're broken off if I didn't smooth them down (I did for the worst ones, but not all... there are >3 thousand after all, and soon to be >7k as I get into men's armor). The sides of the metal are not an issue as they're pulled tight against the tabs, except on longer untabbed strips, like I used for the strap of the quiver (I ran out of tabs).

Haha. I have just recently started working out again. I am going to the gym four days a week. It is working but it is also torture. Don't do it, lol.

Anyway, that costume is AWESOME!

wow wow wow wow wow These are AMAZING!  I can just tell how much time and effort went into each piece, and it's wonderful that it's all made out of one single, recyclable material on top of it!  Very nice job, these are great
