I made this last night to this morning, with about 4 hours sleep inbetween, But i'm real proud of it. Stencil/Picture from Threadless.com.

While thinking of how to do the flap, because i travel on my bike so i did not want the strap to get the the way or something, I took pictures of it in pieces, because I make all the parts before I put it together.

Pictures before I put it together...

The Front, That would be the stencil/picture from threadless.com. I used Acrilyic paint, I like the messy look of it.

Close up of the stencil.

One of the three pockets, This one i did opposite of the others, i took the cutted out part of the stencil (the black on stencils that you cutout) and painted around it.

Close up, It looks alot better though

The back, yes, blank. Don't worry I made it alittle better.

The inside of that "sheet". Two pockets, one cell phone clip holder thing and a money pocket.

Notice the phone...

The sides.

The bottom, its white now.

The bag, together.

Closerish.

Another close up of the stencil.

The red strap, nothing special.

The back, told you I made it better, It's the flap and the red is at the end. It gave it some color.

It open.

And, the inside.

Thanks for looking.  Grin Grin

So cool! I like that, it was really clever. The stencil is so mad! How long do you think the back took you altogether?

What do you mean as the back ? Because I did this one backwards than usual messenger bags, the flap is in the back and the stencil is on the front. So do you mean the stencil ? or the back ?
Thanks.

I think you did a fantasic job on the bag's construction, but that stencil makes me feel so old... you're only a couple years older than my son, and if he decorated something he made with a stencil that seemed to say "freedom through suicide" I'd just be SO SAD!

Beautiful work - I just hope you hug your mom and let her know you don't really feel that way.  Grin

I really love that  Wink I might make it for a school bag...(MUST get hold of some duct tape!!!) I like the stencil too, but didn't realise that she was holding a gun - didn't even see it. To me it looked like a girl wearing a hat which was changing into butterflies. If I were to make it, I'd get rid of the gun....

Good job!

Awesome job - very professional.
I wonder about painting on duct tape. Did you seal it with anything after you painted it? How is the picture holding out?
