Made using Simplicity pattern 4609. I didn't get a pic of the side, but the bottom side has a V notch trimmed in the same neckline trim.

This was a fun project to make, but the fabric was a little difficult (stretchy and slippery).   I got it at a local Indian fabric store.

There are also some minor mistakes, like only having white seam binding for the arm holes, so you can see it when I turn certain ways.  I'm also now seeing that the neck is uneven.

It's my second clothing project and first shirt!

That's beautiful, and I love the fabric.

I work in an area that has 8 sari fabric shops - heaven!

we don't pay admission, and bouncers don't check us, and we walk around the metal detectors.

Great Job!

Thank-you!  I've caught the sewing bug.    Lots more fabric and patterns waiting in my sewing 'bureau' to be worked on.

The one right across from my work is having a 'Everything Must Go' closing sale.  I just go in there and drool.  So hard to resist buying up everything!

I love the style and fabric, and the color is the best part in my opinion.

I have some fabric left over.  I'll have to see what I can do with it.
