I've updated the status in the gallery for the senders in my group. Thanks for the PMs Smiley

I've also decided what to make for my partner and tried to gather some inspiration. I've got an item for another swap to finish up first but I'm itching to start to craft for this Tongue Tomorrow... As long as I get my knitting done.

Ooops, my first project is taking a lot longer than I had planned. Hopefully I don't get disqualified :p

I can't wait to send out. It is so nice to have a reason to craft and this isn't so stressful, since it doesn't isn't supposed to take that much time. Still, I will be glad when I am done. I think it will look much better than the things I normally do. I usually have no sense when it comes to color.

After this, I plan to get into some charity crafting. 'Plan' being the operative word. What I am working on now has given me faith in my abilities. But maybe it isn't that great. We will see.

I finished up my two items in just a little over 2 hours total - hope I'm not disqualified for technically exceeding the time limit Wink.

I finally found a post-office that accepted international packages (after 4 tries) so my goodies are on their way to the UK. I have no idea how long it will take to arrive. Anyone have estimates from Seattle to the UK?

Um, no answer to that, but hey, you're in Seattle?  I grew up in Auburn.  Get a bit homesick now and again, but Canada is a nice place to live.  Especially way up here where we get to avoid the rain. Smiley We may have blizzards and temperatures as low as forty below, but we have blue skies for most of the year.

I feel so weird...after sending my package for this swap, I don't have any others that I'm working on. I've also vowed to myself and my husband that I'm not going to sign up for anymore until January.  This means totally staying away from the new swap board.  If I go there all the time like I usually do, I'll end up finding one I just can't resist.  In other words, the next six weeks or so are going to be strange...actually making crafts for people I know in real life, or, heaven forbid, myself!

Inside a dog it's too dark to read.

Well, you can always make Christmas presents. That's what I'm doing. It's going to help bulk up what we are giving this year without spending much since my stash is stuffed anyway. :-)

And if you can knit socks, I want to do a personal swap with you (if you want a quilt!) Or if you knit or crochet. I love yarnie things!

Well I've been racking my brains on what to make and I've come up with a nice idea that shouldn't be too time consuming. I have the supplies now all I need to do is spring into action!

Me too!  I think it will be even worse when people start posting pictures in the gallery.
