ok I sent a parcel to IheartzB and I know she recieved almost a week ago.
So I am posting pictures of what I sent.

I was really happy with the way this came together. I spent a whole day looking for the right design for a dancing girl, I couldn't find one though, so I spent a few more hours looking for a picture. I them digitised it( told the computer where to put the stitches) and then I sewed it out.
Not knowing what sort of decore Her Step mother had I wanted to stay with a plain fabric so that it would not clash.
I am very happy with the way it came together.
and the little photo pocket also. It has 2 pieces of plastic to slip the photo bewteen, and can be hung up

Tanza, those are fabulous!  I love the little dancers in each corner and the ornament is awesome!  (You're making me want an embroidery machine even MORE now!  Maybe Santa will put one under the tree tomorrow night!)

Love the dancing girl design, thats so clever and pretty!

I wish I was still an Oregonian.. I moved from Grants Pass when I joined the Air Force, and now even though I'm out, my husband is in and we've been in North Dakota forever. I've been trying to find some other Craftsters near, and I know a lot of crafty ladies, but none that care too much for the internet! lol

An Oregon Craftster meetup would be awesome.  We tried to get a group together awhile back in Salem, but nothing ever came of it.

Tanza, I love your embroidery work.

I just went through all the papers that Calluna sent me and wanted to post pictures of some of my favorite things.  There was so much great stuff in there!  Lots of book pages, some foreign language papers, stickers and great pictures.

Some of my favorites are...
These super cute envelopes and heart vellum

Lewis Carroll pics

An alphabet made from corkboard

And last but not least HANDMADE PAPER!!!! Did you make it yourself???

Thank you again to Calluna and all my secret santas

Hee - he gave me my sewing machine last year ... maybe he's got a theme in mind! Wink

And lindy - those papers are gorgeous! I love the Lewis Carroll and the corkboard letters.  And the handmade paper is fabulous!

LOL, the handmade paper was not my doing; it's been traveling around the Craftster world for a while: craftydeb sent it to me in last year's Secret Santa (with a bunch more in blue and natural which I didn't send--I was trying to find as much pinkness in my stash to send as I could), and she received it from a different craftster in an earlier swap.  Smiley I did make one of the yarns binding them, but the others came from swaps, too.

The Alice images were from a reuse/salvage store of art supplies, oddly enough, and they had a whole stack of those sheets! I don't know what they were doing there; maybe the company that printed them went out of business?

And the cork letters are actually stickers!
