Oh wow, all this stuff is awesome.  I'm getting some super ideas for future gifts (for me and others!)

I'm sorry you're having to deal with non-communicative people, Deb!  Sad

I'm sorry if I'm in the uncommunicative camp, but I've had nothing to communicate.   Grin  No mail for me today, so I'm unfortunately not getting any Santa packages before Christmas.  Ah well, after Christmas packages are just as awesome.  Also, my secret packages don't seem to have arrived either.  Not unsurprising with the suckage of Canada Post times the holiday craziness plus my incredibly bad luck with mail.  I shall try to be patient.

There have been some wonderful things in the gallery so far though.

Kayrun- the cookies are from me! I'm glad they made it in one piece- I was worried the box would get all shook up and they would crumble!

Funny story- the first time I tried to make the mint thumbprints my friend and I made a big double batch at work and we were naughty and stole some flour while the chef wasn't there (I work in a restaurant). Well karma got us back because we had accidentally used tempura batter they use for the calamari and the whole lot came out super salty! I'm glad I tried again though, I really like the recipe.

I've never seen a toliet paper roll holder but that is an AWESOME idea and it came out super cute!

I can't tell there's anything wrong with the dolphin frames at all- they look great!

As promised here are pics of the crafty goodness from two more of my secret santas. Their generosity brought tears to my eyes. First, I received alot of crafty love from calluna - she went above and beyond the call of duty. She sent me 3 packages!! In addition to the t-shirt yarn I posted previously, I received two packages this week.

A fabulous cross-stitch of my doggy! In her note calluna said that she was giving me this because our fur babies are so good at helping us get through tough times. And she is so right, these past few weeks I've been relying on her spunk to carry me through.

And here's a closeup:

Some doggy toys. My dog,  Annie, is patiently waiting to attack them:

And here's an action shot, which was hard to get because of the way she runs and flings her toys about:

A whole pile of embroidery thread and some cool vintage buttons and buckle:

Some molded crayons for the grandgirl:

And last, but not least, she had someone send me a tin shrine. Is it not adorable?

Oh, and one more - an Oregon Girl apple label, love it as I am an Oregon girl!

I hope I didn't forget anything!
Thanks so much, calluna for your generosity and for adding a bright spot to my holidays!

And now for my goodies from my secret santa mistletoe. Are you going to reveal yourself, secret santa?!

Mistletoe crocheted for me a t-shirt yarn rug. It's nice and thick and will be perfect to stand on while I'm at the sink doing dishes. Here's a pic with my dog, Annie, on it for scale. And by the way, she loves that rug. I wouldn't be surprised if she drags it to her favorite napping place.

And I'm soooooo excited to have received this book! I've really, really been wanting it. I can't believe how generous you all are - the rug in itself was a medium, I'm sure.

Now all I need is a dressform and I can design and sew my own clothes - I'm so excited! I'll post any creations I come up with. I may need a serger too. And more fabric, and..... Grin

Thanks, mistletoe, for being a great secret santa, whoever you may be!

And a special thanks to craftydeb and calluna, our fabulous organizer and co-organizer. This has been such a great swap - my favorite I think. I can't wait for the next one!!
