I love the Snuggie.  I love the idea of different fabrics and a foot pocket.  Genius!

I love to extend the deadline but for me I will not be able to do anymore crafting.  Tomorrow is my birthday (YAY) and this is finals week for me.

Crafting keeps the madness at bay. Or is it the cause?

Love the Snuggie!  I got one for my daughter for her birthday later this week.  It's the store bought one and isn't as nice.

Lots of hugs playswithneedles.

Thanks for the kind words everyone - that's the great thing about Craftster, its filled with great people! And yes, crafting is bringing some comfort, I'm crocheting even more obsessively than before. When I was going through my mom's stuff I found her stainless hooks and brought them home with me. I've been wanting to make a doily, but would really really like to try a table cloth or bedspread. Talk about obsessive....

As promised, here are the pics of what I've received from two of my secret santas. First from VV in MD, t-shirt yarn - yippee! I'm going to crochet a rug out of it.

And second, from Kaz814 some lovely potholders. She said they were her first - I think they are awesome. The pic on the left is the "front" with fabric from my wist. The pic on the right is the "back." They are nice and thick and sturdy. What did you use for filling/batting?

And I couldn't resist a pic of the cute card she sent with the potholders. Notice the little pompom on his hind end!

Thanks!

Smiley I used cotton batting (like the kind you buy to put in a quilt).  It's good for pretty much all the 'needs padding' projects.  I think mine's the organic cotton kind (I bought it to use on a baby gift and now I'm hooked!)  I think I used 3 "layers" plus the fabric. Cheesy

And yay for liking the little card, too.  The pompom butt was my favorite part too!
