craftydeb- We just finished watching star trek!! I was so glad that hubby surprised me with it! Did you enjoy it?
I'm about to look over everyone's lists and make my first picks! I'm so excited!

My hubby and I saw it when it was in the theater and I wanted to take my boys to see it then but he said no... let's see it first and see how it is.... then after he said, man, we should have brought them... and sadly we never got to take them to see it on the big screen.. but we redbox rented it today.  Sadly we only made it through halfway and then bedtime came. They were disappointed but I know there is no way they would have been able to stay up another 60+ min... cranky kids are no fun.. .so tomorrow after breakfast we will finish it up.  Kirk is now marooned on that ice planet... already met you know who but they have not met the other you know who.  Okay.  So that's where we left it for the evening...

I'm up for opening when we get 'em!   My logic (or, perhaps more accurately, somewhat murky justification) is that if the stuff's to use around the holidays, it's not as much fun if you can only enjoy it Christmas and a few days after!

Um ... and I want to open presents!  

Oh!  And a bit of a teaser for __________.  I'm going shopping for the ______ for your _____ and __________ tomorrow!  I know exactly what I want, it's just a matter of finding it!

my boyfriend's just mad because he said i listed everyone else in the state in my bio, EXCEPT him! haha! he's spoiled enough as is!

i suppose i am too...but i can't imagine being able to wait!

Hmmmm... I think I feel a common desire to just rip those babies wide open when they arrive...
I'm good with that.  I suppose that if I asked you all to just hold off that you'd open anyway since the temptation would drive you batty and then you'd have to keep the secret for awhile... and I know a lot of you might just burst!
It's all good then.


Next question.... I can agree to say hey, you can open and post pics... but what about not telling who your sender is until later on so there is still a bit of holiday mystery?

I all for maintaining secrecy and seeing if anyone can GUESS who the Secret Santa is!  If anyone is up for turning it into a game, I'm willing to pony up a small prize for the person who gets the most correct answers (not including the gifts you sent yourself of course!)

I like the idea of secrecy, and also the game.  I love games probably more than I love Christmas, if that's possible.

How would we reveal who we think sent it?

I think that you as a recipient will know who sent it to you... just the post mark alone will be a dead giveaway... and your sender will probably out herself in the package.  It would be more for the rest of the group to guess who sent it I think.  I won't post up the uncoded list until after everyone has received

I'm not sure - any suggestions?  Everyone could just post when the pics are posted, and when the maker confirms, that ends the guesses for that.  Everyone is allowed one attempt, with no edits.  Someone could keep track of it, and again, the winner would be the one who gets the most correct guesses?
