I had a package sitting on the counter and did not even know it - nice of DH to mention it to me.  I'm always a bit distracted around Christmas - trying to keep my mind on the lists of stuff that needs to be made and foods that need to be cooked.  Our annual party is today and I have two turkeys ready to go - one brined and to be BBQd and the other to be deep fried (oh ye gods!), a pumpkin cheesecake that needs its topping, and a sweet potato bread dough on the make for rolls - ARGH!!!!  I still have to wrap and finish some gifts too!!!

So I will open and take pics later.

I love those sea life necklaces.  I want some brownies now after catching up with the thread.  It's only 6:45 AM here but well.... it's never to early for brownies!

I have a claim that I am going to be finishing up this weekend so I can ship in time!  My daughters birthday party is today and I need to get some baking done so I can ship some boxes to my family in Montana.  Oh it's gonna be a busy busy weekend!

Sooo... how do you guys feel about extending send outs until Friday so that more people can make claims if they choose to or are you guys pretty good at this point?

I'm on track to send on Tuesday.  I spent today crafting literally all day - 8am to 9pm.  It took me 3 hours to cut out the last thing I started.  I'm hoping to get it all pieced together Tuesday... if all goes well that is!  Then I'll be working on a few other tidbits here or there but I'm feeling pretty good about my packages I'm working on.  I've got a few things done so I'm feeling good about it all.  I keep seeing people's lists and I'm like man... I could send this to that person and whatnot.  It's just a non stop urge to create lol.

I'm good with that!  I may even pick one more person!  Not sure yet, I still have to stencil one more shirt for one neice and make three pairs of mittens, finish a couple of more gnomes.  Bake.....  Oh I am so behind this Christmas!!!!  But everything went over well for the Christmas party tonight - the couple I did the housewarming presents for (the stencilled girly apron/towel set, and the hello kitty one) loved them, friend loved his zombie survival kit, etc.

As long as they aren't packages that need to be there before Christmas (ie ornaments or gifts for kids), I think that's fine. It does cut it a little close for international packages, though.

Already Hanukkah!? This month is flying past.
