Everyone's packages are awesome so far! I love those beaded ornaments! That must have taken a lot of time! My fingers are way too clumsy to do stuff like that!!

I finally got to open my package. I'll try to post pictures later tonight.

I really like that Jem pendent - I was always more a Misfits fan than the Halograms anyways myself Cheesy  Very cool.  Loving seeing what everyone is getting!  This is so much fun - this swap has been agreat way to help alleviate some of that Christmas stress I always build up!

Completely unrelated, it was fortuitous for me that you joined the swap when you did, irish_chicky--the previous day I'd been in an emergency room with my family, and dealing with an awful doctor there who the nurses and other staff referred to as Mr. Bean behind his back. He really did look like Mr. Bean, but reminded me more of Lurch from The Addams Family. Anyhow, my mom had no idea who Mr. Bean is, and I conveniently had your avatar there to show her the next day.  Grin I remembered someone having that avatar, but couldn't remember who.

that's an amazing story! I truely believe everything happens for a reason. I love mr. bean. Him and his bear, I have a lot of memories with my dad watching Mr.Bean on NYE.

I had one of those days today where NOTHING went as planned.  I had a supply shopping, thrift browsing, and crafting date planned with the boyface for today and it ended with me bringing home a bag of rotten potatoes (GOODNESS those things SMELL- how did I not notice it earlier?!?) and him getting suddenly called into work. Sad Bah humbug to them for making us both cranky on our Sunday!

Oh well, I at least got MOST of what I needed and can start on one of my gifts tomorrow!

a couple things--

- feel free to update your wishlists if you think of something more to add to it!

- the people who claim craftydeb don't have that claim show up on their "Santa/gifted" list on the 1st page of the swap, though they do receive official credit for it and will be publicly acknowledged after craftydeb receives the packages and finds out who sent them...Because she is the only one who can update that list, and she can't know who is sending to her, there are Secret Santas on the list who have made more claims than it looks like they have. Therefore, I encourage you all not to use the number of claims a person has made as a factor in deciding who you want to claim.

calluna - I'm actually adding the claim to their stats after I receive it (and figure it out lol) so it's a delayed reaction lol....

But yeah, definitely change your wish lists if you think of something - that is always a great idea!  Hmmmm... I should as well lol.

I am collecting quilts, afghans & blankets for those that lost their homes.  Pm me!
