are you going to make the fringies off the sides into icords?  there's a scarf in the scarf style book that they do that with and I think the idea is kinda nifty . . .

Well to be honest i just keep knitting!!! not sure what it is even going to be yet. dont know if im gonna hide the fringe or keep it out..i really like it alot think it adds fun to it.
started out thinking it would be a small tote, but ive worked on it so long that i think it has to be a large tote now, with all the time i have in it.
also thought about a scarf??
what is the book you speak of the scarf book??
thanks darla

I think i'd almost use it as a runner down a table or on top of a piano . . . . so that you can show it off all the time . . .

the book:
Scarf Style : Innovative to Traditional, 31 Inspirational Styles to Knit and Crochet
by Pam Allen

here's the amazon link:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1931499543/qid=1114095584/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/102-5463947-1555313?v=glance&s=books&n=507846

But I recommend checking your local library if you're short on funds.  That way you can see if you're really interested in owning it before you buy it.

I love all the colors you used. I wish I could knit that well.... I wish I had more than 3 types of yarn too! (today is quite the wishy day...)
well, the main reason that I commented was to say that your signature made me laugh so hard! It made my day. Yay for impossible itches!!!!!! Cheesy

mmmmm... I love it! I like the row method for a scarf. That is way better than the magic ball way for something small. My giant shawl worked because it was so big.

Lovely job! I will have to do one of those! I love the way the variagated yarn works to bring it all together!
