Tuesday Morning is a store, I think that buys close out stuff from department stores.  Like TJ Maxx or Ross Dress for Less.  I've never really bought anything at one before but I must have never made it to the crafting isle before leaving.

I've never made a repunzel scarf! I  have no idea if what I have is usable for it! (plus I don't have any slots open) but still, I will be stalking the gallery and maybe join the next round.  I read the directions, but I still don't really get it.

so I Started cutting strands already, I was not busy at work yesterday and today is starting slow too.... but I have a question.....  I am wondering what the optimal number of strands is to get a nice wide scarf...... any ideas?

My girls just made a couple of these last weekend.  The first one they added a 1 inch wide piece of fabric to each section of 10 strands and it was pretty wide, I loved that one.  The next two, they were trying to do before other events and they left out the fabric.  Those were much thinner, with only the 10 strands of yarn in each section, but still really cute.  You could always  do a test braid on one end and see if you're happy with the thickness/width.  If you don't knot the end it would be really easy to add more if you wanted, but we generally go with 10 strips/yarns/ribbons per section.

Yay! I'm excited for this swap!

I have been wanting to make one of these scarves for a while but was waiting to see if this swap was opening up. I'm starting right now to spin up some hand-spun yarns for this!

I'm excited to see everything!

Alrighty, I'm closing singups before I start the movie.   We have a nice number for groups of 5 which is quite nice.  I'll have partners up in the morning (CT). Grin
