I'm definitely looking forward to using these as Christmas presents.  They are always so beautiful and unique!

sounds fun, sending in a questionnaire now!

but I do have one question, if the yarn can be sent out in envelopes, does it really need a dc number? can you even put dc on a standard sized envelope?

Yes, the yarn can be sent in envelopes, but padded envelopes are preferable because of abuse of some posts.  And yes, we will be using DC#s (or for international ship, receipts need to be retained).

Envelopes require priority for a DC#.

Envelopes require priority for a DC#.

You can get DC#s for First Class Packages which includes thick envelopes (ones over 3/4" thick at the widest part and not more than 13oz.)

So here is what you ask yourself if you are wondering about your envelope....
Is it over 3/4" thick at the widest part?
If so - YES you can get DC# on it.
It has to be under 13 oz. for first class.
If it isn't under 13 oz., then it's just a parcel post envelope, and all parcel post is suitable for DC#.

You can find out more at the USPS website.
DC#s info at http://www.usps.com/shipping/deliveryconfirm.htm
First Class Mail info at http://www.usps.com/send/waystosendmail/senditwithintheus/firstclassmail.htm
Parcel Post info at http://www.usps.com/send/waystosendmail/senditwithintheus/parcelpost.htm

And for ease, here's the info from usps website about DC#s Grin
You can get DC#s for:
Delivery Confirmation may be used with the following services:

 First-Class Mail® Parcels
 Priority Mail®
Package Services Parcels - Includes Parcel Post® , Media Mail® , Bound Printed Matter (paid by permit imprint only), and Library Mail.
Standard Mail® Parcels - must be less than 16 ounces and mailed at the electronic price.
Parcel Select® - must be mailed at the electronic price.

Note: A First-Class Mail mailpiece, determined to be a parcel by the dimensions and characteristics of the item, is eligible for Delivery Confirmation

I just sent my questionnaire in. I love the Rapunzel scarves. I only sent in for one group. I hope that will be ok. I can do two. I am going over to my Mom's and looking through her stash tonight. I have plenty at home but I am always prepared, lol.

I am so happy you joined us! Grin  I adore Rapunzel scarves (though I have yet to be able to keep one for myself), and I'll be using this swap to make some holiday gifts.   And don't fret; joining just one group is fantastic!

Thank you so much! I am so excited to be in. I went over to my Mom's today to hit her up for stash, lol. I have plenty but I want a big variety. I am selfish I am making the scarf for me, lol. I have mainly guy friends so they would not want one.

I have wanted a Rapunzel scarf since I first joined Craftster. My favorite fairy tale is Rapunzel.

Thank you again for approving me.
