Everybody wants a big ol' slice of a little pie

Hey all.
So, I just "finished" my zombie head.
It isn't for anything in particular,
except wearing my hats, I guess.

I used fake blood from halloween,
but none of it dried looking like blood.
Sort of upsetting.
I might do something else with it...
It has three bullet holes in the back,
a couple of gashes on its face,
and missing an eye.
All in all, not very proud of it yet.
I know it REALLY looks blue in the pics,
but it's more gray.

I put TONS of blood in the gashes and bullet holes,
but it... dissapeared? I'm not sure.
So now they're empty I guess.
Painted it gray, the eye white,
used sharpie for the eye,
and fake blood for the crappy blood.

Stupid. Blood. Ruined my Zombie T.T

Maybe you could paint over the head with some kind of... >> paint... to make it look more skin like, instead of the scaly look that the Styrofoam gives, and.. maybe a little bit of clay or glue to make extra skin, like, around the gashes, some more definition in the eyes... how about a red color? Paint the inside of the missing eye black?

Sorry I'm not much help... I've never done anything like that before, just trying to name some things I think might work...  Undecided

I thought about actually carving out the eye, but I'm not sure if I will always want my head to be a zombie.
