I just got my first Blythe doll this week and I am so excited about it!   I knit her a hat and dress while anticipating her arrival.  Roslyn loves her new clothes.

Both the hat and dress were free patterns and are on Ravelry as well. I do believe an entire knit wardobe is in her future.  Wink

Thank you! I have wanted one for nearly two years, but have always had a hard time saving money so I started off "cheap".  She is an ADG Aztec Arrival.  I have a feeling she'll have a sister before too long though.  I think the new Urban Cowgirl is beautiful. I need to start saving now...  Cheesy

That's so cool!  I would love to have an original Kenner doll.

There is nothing wrong with an ADG.  My first one was a Kozy Kape ADG and I love her more than my others. She is the best, I even took her with me to DC back in September and left my other girls home.  Cheesy You will be able to get some great deals on more if you keep your eyes open.

That's so cute Smiley Did you use sock yarn for her dress or is it some other kind of self patterning yarn?

I used Jo-Ann Sensations Kashmira in the self striping green for the dress.  I think it is a sport weight.  It was knit on US 2 1/2 needles.
The hat was knit with Lion Brand Wool-Ease.

It actually might still be at my Grandma's house. I think I'll have to go investigate. Cheesy
