Hello fellow Craftsters. I'm new to Craftster and I have a query for my fellow West Coasters.

I have recently taken up embroidery and have been using stranded cotton / floss. I had purchased some Perle cotton from Hobbycraft at the Fort but I don't get there very often because I don't drive. I've been trying other Glasgow stores for Perle cotton but with no luck (I've tried Mandors, John Lewis, Forge Market some other crafty stores in Lanarkshire), does anyone where else I'd be able to purchase?

I've had a look online, and some online stores do have fairly good deals but I'd prefer to see the cotton in person so I can choose my colours if possible!

While I'm here, are there any crafty shops in Glasgow outwith the kinda big stores I've mentioned that are worth checking out? I'm into most crafts!

Cheers!

There is a fabric shop round the back of the barras that might help?  Not sure what threads they stock.

Good luck!

Thanks, will check this out the next time I'm in the area, anyone have a name? I'm having a look on Google Maps Streetview to see if I can find it!
Edit: Fabric Bazaar maybe?
