This is just so beautiful. I'm also keen to knit this - would you consider posting a tute/pattern. Fantastically gorgeous work!

I love this! Where did you find the pattern, or did you make it up yourself? Was it very hard to knit? Its so awesome I really want to make one too!!

Thank you so much! By the way, I love all your avatars!

I actually designed it myself and wrote down notes along the way, which is why I'm extra proud, slightly askew-collar be darned.  The process of translating my notes into something other people could follow will take me a week or two.  What I'm afraid of is that I can only provide with certainty my exact steps, which yields a true XS size, and guesstimate about what would become a S, M, or L.  So I really do want to share it with anyone who's interested, because that would make me xtra xtra proud, but I hope it will be useful when I'm done.  I'll post a note here when I have posted a pattern/tutorial on my website.

Thanks again!

I have nothing really to add, but I thought I'd add my Kudos to the pile. Yay for Jane Austen!

Wow!  I am very impressed. I love it, and would love to knit it  Maybe you should try to get it in the next Stitch n' Bitch.  Of course then we would have to pay for it, but shaping is so difficult in knitting, that you deserve it.

Thank you!!!  I already started converting my notes into something that looks like a pattern.

That is tempting because then her technicians will work out the sizing configs for me!  Hee hee!

Nope, nothing yet! I had almost forgotten she had said she would expect news to get to us this week.  Maybe next week then! (gulp).
