I made this costume actually for the week before Halloween for the Disney themed pub crawl I was attending and I was intending to wear it for Halloween too until my parents turned up a day early :S  So it didn't actually get worn for Halloween but the Disney crawl was so much fun that I don't mind so much!  (I hope this doesn't matter that I'm posting it here!) 

I used the Simplicity Disney pattern and bought all the fabrics online, I made it totally from scratch, and in only 4 evenings in the end as the pattern got caught in the postal strikes and was over 2 weeks late!!!  Argh!  I didn't have time to make the collar or cape that I intended too but I think it would have been difficult to be out and about the bars and clubs with the neck piece on anyway.

The front suffered from my lack of time and vigorous dancing and I need to re-sew the braid but you can see how it was meant to be.  My favourite part is the poofy sleeves Smiley

With my four dwarves!  They made their own costumes which I think were really awesome as I wasn't sure what they would turn up in and they even had stuffing!!!

(the toy is our club mascot Derek!)

One of them was Sleepy and brought a pillow to fall asleep on in the middle of the dancefloor!

Does it get more fun than Disney and Pubs? I think not! You did a fabulous job and you look fantastic! And what fun friends to be your dwarfs! Smiley

They actually wanted to be dwarves first and then I asked if I could be Snow White, as I can't help it but I wanted to be girly heehee!
