I love doing monochromatic color schemes with my BW photos.
This is my little man, Peetie - who obviously has many other names!

Thanks, chicks!

Special note for LearnToFly - here is a basic sketch of my layout design (you can see I deviate from my original plan!)  I always try to sketch out a design first, then just start layering!  Let me know if you would a list of supplies I used!

I LOVE this layout! I have been trying to break free of my simple scrapbook style lately and do stuff like this. I'm going to have to try and lift it  Smiley

Gorgeous page - I adore the colour combo, the lime green looks amazing! And what a sweet photo.

All of your scrapbook spreads are just gorgeous!
Do you keep them in a scrapbook or frame them as wall art?
Do you always come up with your own layouts, and if so do you ever to 2-pg spreads?
Thanks for sharing. :-D

Thanks so much, Beekeebear!

I do design all my own layouts, unless I am participating in a sketch challenge or am just really stuck - - then I might peruse the Page Maps blog for ideas - - I usually create a sketch for myself before I start laying everthing out.

I do some 2 pagers, I just entered a 2 pager in our County Fair - - keeping my fingers crossed!

I keep all my layouts in albums -- I recently started using the 3 ring binder style - and really like them.  Makes it easy to flip through and look at the layouts.
