Since I'm a total tree-hugger, I wanted to be Mother Nature for Halloween:

Hmmm, not sure what I'm proclaiming there, probably that happy hour should be 24 hours long. Wink
I made the dress and headpiece. I painted my face at 5 in the morning and these pictures were taken about 7pm- that's some resilient facepaint!
Mother nature was tired and kind of grouchy by this point. A demigoddess' work is never done!
I had green toenails and my feet and ankles had leaves painted on them as well, but I don't appear to have any pictures of that. Sad

Oh, so pretty!  What a great idea! I may have to reference this for my costume next year.

Thanks, sooperkatt! My intention was to have butterflies and birds pinned randomly all over the skirt, but it absolutely poured rain all Halloween here and I was afraid the dye would leak off of them. After a quick test in the sink, I opted to leave them off. Sad
