i just finished this up about a week ago. its made from taffeta, with a silk lining, understructure and an asymmetrical cutout of the back/ side. this was my first time working with metal spiral boning, it wasnt too difficult (i just had to find something that could cut it haha) im pretty happy with the outcome though.

That looks really cool and like it fits well. I really like the back cutout and the stitching detail on the fabric. Did you buy the fabric like that or did you do it yourself (either way it rocks).

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

Great job matching the pin tucks in the fabric panels at the front.  That must have been tricky as I imagine the panels would have been different sizes?  But you are a brave girl, I would have held onto that fabric wistfully for a few laps of the store and then returned it to its stand thinking that it was just too difficult to attempt.  But you have made something really stunning, congratulations Smiley
