On the wall of an old building I used to pass all the time as a little child, there was an ad featuring a cartoon-- a person who was ultra feminine on one side and pure gentleman on the other.
I probably unconsciously said to myself, "I'll be that person one day," because I had the epiphany this year to become just that.
Perhaps I was already prone to crossdressing because I already had this sitting in my closet:

I used an old prom dress my mom happened to have in the back of her closet:

After slicing and dicing, and makeup:

I used a string of pearls to hold the neckline of the outfit together. Make half of a bowtie and sewed it onto the shirt to make me a certified gentleman.
Bright red lipstick and fake lashes and lots of blush to make my right ultra feminine. Brow-powder to thicken my brows on the left side and a fake thing mustache. Notice the flower in my hair was previously found on the breast of the dress.

Pretty sad I don't have a decent enough photo of the outfit altogether, but this is the best I could do:
