No - there were no major accidents... LOL. As a child, I loved Bunsen and Beaker from the Muppets. So, I had to recreate them. God Love my husband who puts up with my Halloween obsession. We've been oompah loompas, popeye and olive oyl, M&M's etc.. but this years was my favorite so far..

I didn't make the clothes. We used stuff we had around the house. But the masks were made completely by hand. Using Baseball caps, Old Lampshade innards as the 'support' and then batting and fabric. I also used colored netting as the 'necks' so we could see. Eyes on Beaker were foam balls, nose was foam ball covered with fabric. Bunsens glasses were made out of black foam. Enjoy..

Amazing costumes! I'm also a huge fan of Beaker and Bunsen... I may have to do this with the man in my life next year. It looks like you guys had a blast!

SO Great. It's nice seeing all the 80's costumes on here. Loved Bunsen and Beaker as a kid, too.  Cheesy

You nailed the freaked-out expression for Beaker's face!  Great job!

were you in Hollywood on Halloween? We got really excited to see Beaker coming down the street and we snapped a quick picture, but it's totally blurry. Sad These are awesome costumes! I love the see-through netting idea - makes it totally 'wearable' for a full evening (rather than being trapped inside a giant mask)

No - we were in Tennessee...  LOL.

Thank you to everyone for the kind words and comments. We had a great time with these costumes!
