Not sure if I should post this in food or here but here makes the most sense to me...

So this is the third year we've done our gory themed dinner party and I just wanted to share some pics.
I'm super proud how everything turned out and since I've gotten so many ideas on here maybe these will help someone else looking for ideas next year.  Grin

Everything was made by me & my hubby except the mice pie and the litter cake. Awesome and amazing friends brought those!

The fun part is, these things only look worse as everyone starts eating them...lol.

I'd love to hear what you all think!

wow! it all looks fantastic. The tapeworms look particularly revolting. Are they hot dogs? Sadly I never seem to have time to make gruesome foods for my Halloween party, but you've inspired me to try to do it next year!

Back off, man! I'm a scientist!

Thank you lakes451- And yep, they're just sliced up turkey franks quick boiled to make them twist. And you should definitely try making gory foods, it's soo much fun and everyone looks forward to it so much! The hardest part is just finding new ideas every year to top the previous year..lol!
Sunflower Smiles- Oh speaking of the litter cake it was extra revolting because she actually had tootsie rolls inside the cake that was crumbled chocolate cake! I had never seen one like it! I thought I was pretty tough about this sort of thing but I couldn't eat those tootsie rolls!! lol.

I want to say eew and yum all at once. It was so cool. Hope you don't mind if I steal one or 2 of those ideas for next year.  Roll Eyes

I definitely don't mind, I just hope to see pictures next year! Wink If anyone has great ideas of their own to add to this thread I'd love to see them as well. It seems this sort of thing is not that common and it gets difficult to find new ideas. lol. Grin

Oh, so gross. I read the warning but I just thought "eh, how bad can it be?" Why, why, why don't I listen?
Man, I'd have to be so hungry to eat any of that... especially that cat litter cake thing, ugh. I've seen that a few times before but it never gets any easier to look at. The wet poop trailing up the sides  Tongue

Great Job!

I looove everything!! I'm wondering what is in the witchs brew?

It is women who love horror. Gloat over it. Feed on it.
Are nourished by it. Shudder and cling and cry out...
And come back for More.

Thank you! It's a lot of fun. The recipe I used for the witch's brew is this one: http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/witches-brew/Detail.aspx
