Well! I've been married since June 5th, so it's high time I post photos, especially since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows just came out and I've seen it twice including the midnight opening and I want to see it MOAR!!!

Also, sorry if the pics are huge.
We bought a ton of mismatched lanterns for the tables and made parchment cards with names of locations in the world of Harry Potter

I found a ton of vintage keys and tied velvet ribbon on each using colors from the Hogwarts houses for fast, but awesome boutennieres

Mike folded these origami flowers as well as hundreds of lucky stars. The flowers were made from pages of Harry Potter and the stars were house colors again

We found photoshop brushes of banners to make placecards and for whatever reason I went crazy and wrote them all by hand. Ouch.

I made all of our bouquets using Kangaroo Paw, Blue Thistle, orange spray roses, red and pink yarrow,

Cupcakes! I made two dozen cupcakes and several other people brought them as well. We had so many cupcakes!!!

Our handfasting cords. The green one belongs to Mike's parents and the red/gold one is ours. I bought the cord and added shells and other trinkets to it.

I don't think I've ever seen a guestbook at a married friend's house. It just takes up space somewhere, so we designed a poster for guests to sign that we'll frame and hang when we get a place to live

My friend/bridesmaid(not shown) made these feathery hair clips the night before the wedding. Anxiety!

We designed and printed out all of our programs. You can't see it here, but I punched a hole at the top of each one and tied a piece of gold or purple ribbon.

We lost many people the year before we got engaged. Mike's dad passed away suddenly in the fall. My grandmother passed away on Valentine's Day. Mike's grandmother then passed away before Easter. My other grandmother has advanced alzheimers and is in a home. Amongst other losses from several years ago. So! We set up a small shrine to these relatives, to have a place for them.

I made all of our bouquets using Kangaroo Paw, pink and red yarrow, blue thistle, orange spray roses, wheat,

Our little lanterns girls and boy carried tiny lanterns we got at Target and we wrapped the handles in ribbon

Instead of slaving over favors we had a little fun and filled all kinds of jars with jelly belly jelly beans: Bertie Botts style! I stamped lots of little paper bags for people to fill up

We also had a bunch of jelly candies from Lindt and Lindt truffles I bought for half price!

I made all the jewelry for the bridesmaids, me(not pictured), lantern girls, etc...The first two earrings had no hooks when I took the pics...
