Stumps is a giraffe that had grown tall when he was younger, but that growth spurt ended very soon. All of the other giraffe's tower over Stumps while he gets lost in the crowd.

There's always a spot in my heart for giraffes, especially when they are as adorable as this little guy! I also like his little story...very cute.

is there any way to get the spots to not look like moles without felt or embroidering?
i was thinking of using the ch 2 and sc in 2nd chain from the hook method vs. the magic ring one. has anyone tried that?

Very cute!  Did you reinforce the long neck somehow?

That's usually what I do, but I have actually never attempted the magic ring method....

Why don't you just make one or two using that method and see how they look comparatively?

i'm gonna have to try that, though someone did point out to me that i'm still just putting a 3D object on another 3D object, so it's probably going to stick out like that even with the other method. i might just have to stick with embroidering.

@ConnieStieler i was thinking about putting wire in it, but ended up not doing it. it stays up perfectly fine though.

@cait2424  if you think she'd be interested in one, pm me! Smiley
